Restoration work carried out in 2017

A restoration project lasting over a year has now brought this Grade II* listed church back to its former glory. Major works included the installation of drainage and soak ways around the outside perimeter of the church,major repairs to the parapets, gables and buttresses, re thatching of the nave and chancel roofs and re rendering and re painting of the internal walls.New church gates and posts were also installed.

The total cost of the work was £240,000 with a grant of £190,000 from The Heritage Lottery Fund and smaller grants from nine other trusts and foundations.
